Salute to Style at The Hurlingham Club 

Salute-to-style-LogoThe result of a partnership between one of the most historically significant and oldest private clubs in Europe, The Hurlingham Club, and Michael Scott, founder of 96 Club and The International Guild of Specialist Engineers, Salute to Style 2014 was the newest and most elegant summer garden party in the Capital.

From classic cars of distinction to a chic Bastille Day Ball, the luxury and exclusive event was held over a period of four days in July, starting with a ‘Bastille Day Ball’ and setting a vibrant French tone with authentic French food, drinks and fashion boutiques.

AV PR managed the entire PR campaign, obtaining media and press coverage in several countries across the world as well as in the UK. The event also celebrated design, creativity and craftsmanship in motoring history, with areas dedicated to the best of automotive style and engineering.

Specialist publications and lifestyle magazines were targeted with a comprehensive PR and marketing campaign. Some 2,800 visitors attended. Both sponsors and exhibitors were featured extensively in the media (see ‘media coverage’ section for examples).

The chosen PR strategy resulted in international coverage for the event and several luxury brands, unique motorcars and automotive businesses. Sponsor presence (partially driven by the promise of PR/media coverage) was also strong and just under 3,000 visitors came to The Hurlingham Club during Salute to Style’s weekend.
